Wow, this is an exact copy of me. I have both the security 9 and put the venom optic on it. I also used Galloway precision. It worked very well and i recommend then. I did end up taking the optic off. Personal preference. I can aim and find my target better and faster using the standard sights than the red dot. 1.

As far as I know they don’t exist yet. Ruger is always slow to get aftermarket love unless it’s the PC Carbine or 10/22. If anyone offered a threaded barrel for the Security 9, it would probably run close to $200. Add in at least another $100 for new sights too. Now you can see why the aftermarket isn't embracing this idea.
